Aging-in-Place USA helps people find practical information, services and professionals that may help make an existing home safer, more accessible and better suited to aging in place.
Our primary focus is helping older adults and the family members supporting them understand their options and take the next practical step.
What we do
We bring together three things that are often difficult to navigate separately: clear guidance about home safety and accessibility, structured information about common home-modification services, and a way to find providers serving a particular area.
Our initial service areas include stairlifts, accessible bathroom remodeling, grab bars and handrails, wheelchair ramps, home safety assessments and occupational therapy home assessments.
How local matching works
A provider having an office near you does not necessarily mean they serve your ZIP code.
Aging-in-Place USA therefore uses service-specific coverage information when matching providers. Providers can serve different areas for different services, and results are designed around the service you need and the area the provider has declared it serves.
How we approach trust
Provider ownership, verification, paid plans, sponsorship and search eligibility are separate.
A provider cannot purchase verification or a higher organic position simply by upgrading its account. Where paid or sponsored placements are introduced, they will be identified separately from ordinary results.
Verification means that a stated item has been checked against an appropriate source. It is not an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee of a provider’s work.
What we are not
Aging-in-Place USA is not a medical provider, care-placement service or substitute for professional advice.
We do not determine whether a particular modification, provider or funding route is appropriate for an individual. Our role is to make information easier to understand and help people identify useful next steps.
For providers
Providers can add or claim their business information and maintain relevant service and coverage information.
Claiming a listing establishes account ownership. It does not confer Aging-in-Place USA verification.
